In combination with a calorie-controlled diet and exercise programme, our medicated weight management service can help you reach a healthy weight. 

You'll have a free first consultation with one of our pharmacists, who will explain how the service works and how to use it effectively.

The service is available for people aged between 18 and 75, whose body mass index (BMI) falls within a specific range.

The service may be suitable for you if:

• your BMI is 30 or above
• your BMI is 27 or above and you have one underlying weight-related health condition (for example diabetes or hypertension).

You will have a consultation to check the service is suitable for you, before receiving your weight loss treatment. 

If you are suitable, we can prescribe Wegovy, Mounjaro or Saxenda injections.

This includes the supply of injections for a month and a monthly consultation with one of our pharmacists, who will track your progress and provide information and advice to support you on your weight loss journey. 

Your suitability will be checked again at each consultation before you get your next month's weight loss treatment.

One of our pharmacists will check the medicated weight management service is suitable for you and explain how it works.

They will need to take some measurements from you, including your:

• weight
• height
• blood pressure (this measurement is optional).
• waist circumference (this measurement is optional).

If the service is suitable for you to use, you'll pay for your weight loss treatment at this appointment and receive your first months injections.

You'll contact the pharmacy each month to check your progress and make sure that the service is still suitable for you, before receiving your next month of treatment.
